I think it would be cool if we could buy mystery boxes for x amount of gold or points/coins.
Something similar to Lottery feature that we already have.
People that are into gambling would love this and will definitely spend lots of irl or in-game money.

PLEASE do not bring loot box gambling mechanics to Warmane. WoW is addictive enough without throwing literally gambling into it.

Gambling itself is not a problem, the root problem is personal mindset. Those who don't like this kind of stuff will ignore it, and those who like will enjoy it.

I can't see us having any interest in exploiting people with gambling problems by introducing something like that.
