With the information your provided I could suggest you delete the old script and find a safe one made by others.
That's what one user from dual-boxing said fixed his stop working randomly problem.

I'm using octopus. Easy to set up, but less functionality than some pay software, ofc. Is supposed to be able to broadcast mouse position as well, but that doesn't work for me, so don't bother.
