Define the "problem"

The problem is that merc mode together with human racial has made AV and IOC unplayable for horde in the big bracket. If you for instance want Battlemaster you can not obtain it on Horde currently, because of the hours long HK farm by a dedicated premade. Before merc mode you were incentivized to be Horde because of shorter ques, now, ques are long regardless meaning that as long as these very dedicated Honorable Kill farmers stay on ally, Horde cannot win (in a timely or effective manner not controlled by the premade on the opposite side) or get certain achievements (as it gets everyone with merc mode on for instance Blackrock, who are often way undergeared).

This has been adressed before, when AV Enabler was a thing and 15 - 40 man premades were ****ting on random teams all day every day, PVP stagnated and became very boring. The same thing has now happened in AV and IOC because these players can guarantee they all get the same team by opting out of merc mode, playing one faction and quing in 5 stacks.

It is not healthy for PVP long term. (Note that i do not have a problem with HK farming or the people in the screenshot. What i have an issue with is the inherently flawed merc mode system which just wasnt a good idea over multiple realms with a very strong human racial. This will, however, not change since Warmane has made that abuntantly clear.)

Literally is pretty random, sometimes horde win too in same way with the team with most icecrowners mostly.
