WotLK Ninja looters

Whats up with ninja looting raidleaders in PUGS that mysteriously trades the item to the wrong player (keeps it for himself or gives it to friend) or blatantly just takes the loot they desires and leaves once the raid is done? For the past 3 weeks iv experianced 3 cases of ninja looting whenever an important item drops. Today for example it happend once again regarding the Frostbrood sapphire ring. Has this server always been like this or am i just extremly unlucky?

Always been like this. People exploit PUG's as sometimes they just don't know any better.

Best you can do is find a guild to cut the ninja experience to minimum.

When you join a PUG, you can always speculate what they might ninja. If they might ninja something you're after, make the call to stay or leave.
