WotLK Can't start the application

I just downloaded the 3.3.5a, double-click the Wow.exe and i'm told "Missing or corrupted data. Failed to open archive interface.MPQ." What's goin on?

It means that there is missing or corrupted data because your game can't open the file interface.MPQ. Have you tried closing the bittorrent client before launching the game? Or rebooting or something. Otherwise your download is corrupted and you have to download again.

I downloaded again, problem is the same. I use uTorrent 3.5.5.
I also rebooted my system, didn't help.
Maybe on the net there's somewhere an interface.mpq to download? I searched for it, but the common.mpq is only one I've seen so far...

By the way, some guides tell to replace the common.mpq with another one suitable for ones client, so did I and sstill nothing changed ((

Maybe it's your antivirus or something.

Maybe you got a bad HDD/SSD and parts of the game are sitting on a bad sector -> get damaged. When you download the torrent, stop the torrent task in utorrent and perform a hash check or re-check or w/e it might be called.
