There are pros and cons to any of the realms.
Onyxia is suffering a bit from Season of Discovery being released and as such is not as popular as it has been, but is obviously good if you want to experience everything from Vanilla to WOTLK.
Lordaeron is 1x which means the leveling process does take a while, but getting into raids requires less gear in general than on Icecrown.
On Icecrown you level very quickly and the shop plus the faster rates means that requirements for raids are very high. There are progression guilds but even they will obviously try to get the most gear out of every player.
I would recommend playing on Icecrown if you want high population and faster leveling.
Lordaeron if you wanna take it slow and progressively get into raiding without crazy requirements.
Onyxia if you are OK with a little lower population but want the experience from Vanilla to WOTLK.

Welcome to Warmane, I suggest you to start playing on IceCrown realm. (Don't get mad if you see toxic players, these days you find them in any game, there are also good people).
