WotLK Technical issues

Hello, im a returnee from 2012 or so, trying to play again, i encounter some issues here, my settings werent saved so i had to change settings everytime i play, also i got like 3k++ ping while my internet were fine

Part 1 - Do if you haven't done this already.
1. Restart your PC.
2. Close and exit torrent client.
3. Move your WoW -folder to other folder, away from Torrent's Download folder.
4. Uninstall torrent client if no further use.

Part 2.
1. Right click WoW -Folder, select properties, un-check "Read-only" and Apply.
2. If you get prompt, Apply changes to this folder, subfolders and files and click OK.

As for the internet issue, it could be a routing issue, or something at your end (downloads, shared connection).
Try rebooting router for starter, typical DNS flush, IP release & renew. You could try a VPN to see if it helps (avoid free ones if possible).
