I notice a bug that sometimes appear - when Im trying to inspect a random player I don't see what gear he's wearing, stats are not showing , even the name of the gear is not showing.

Enter - /rl - Enter.

If the player is to far away to inspect but not enough far away to close down your inspection window, get closer.

In my experience this happens if I inspect someone and then target someone else but I always assumed the cause is one of my addons.

If you find out that it's not an addon problem then it belongs on the bug tracker.

came on here to ask about this, some players i can inspect fine others may work briefly and then not, and some players you cant see items at all, tried cache and disabling addons etc. but problem still persists.

Got the same thing, started few days ago, some players can be inspected whilst for others you can't seen the stats or names of any items.

It's a new bug. It's got nothing to do with addons because it happens without addons too. Very easy to reproduce. Just go around Orgrimmar inspecting people and you are guaranteed to see it within one minute.
