Most of the people that are complaining about this are wpvp players from blackrock that dont even care about bgs... but tbh its kinda funny how clowns trying to defend this new *idea* :D btw anytime i log bg i dont even use fap/lap no need vs icecrown players :D

It's a welcome change. A player shouldn't be able to use 10s of both fap/lap every BG as it was, but rather "pool" them and use them on an important BG (whatever that is for each player).
I've never used a single potion in a BG and I've been a player on Icecrown for a while now and based on the replies from some players acting like junkies in this thread, this was long overdue.Edited: September 7, 2024 Reason: Grammar

You make a fair point, but you're assuming server equality and removing them from Blackrock also removed them from Icecrown. This is not the case at all. This change just further curb-stomped Blackrock in favour of Icecrown.
Also it's nice to hear you personally do not use potions(self-imposed hardmode?), but that's not at all true for the BiS premades we have to deal with constantly.
Objectively the price is too harsh. It's a shame the wounded party's response is getting drowned in conjecture from unaffected parties.

From my experience, 80% of the time I see someone use fap, it's a blackrock player. I agree that BiS premades are the main abusers of these potions, but I also think that even if they didn't use them, you or me would still loose that since we are solo queued. The only way I see a problem with the pricing for blackrock players is if we are talking about a full Icecrown premade vs a full Blackrock premade but then I don't know how often this happens and how much this price change actually affects the top blackrock players.
Btw I don't use fap/lap because I don't consider it fair and I would remove them altogether if it was up to me.

Well price of 5000 is simply wrong. There is no other way how we can buy it.
On icecrown you can make it, you can buy, you can buy gold to buy it etc.
And its way cheaper.
I fap costs 70g now. You can buy 100000g for 30e, that means for 1 euro you get 70 pots. 1 euro ???
Yeha let me pay 1 euro on Blackrock for 70 pots.
You join BG now, only ppl with pots are icecrown ppl. This is balance ? this is fairness ? eh
On the other side, why Living Action Potion was increased to 5k as well ??

147 000g / 30 coins = 4900g per coin.
4900g / 70g per FAP = 70 FAP's per 1 coin.
I guess everything is cheaper on Icecrown, if you base your point on wrong calculations. I guess earth really is 2024 years old..

You can either buy 1 5000h potion or buffs and consumables(food,health pot etc)

Game breaking pots shouldn't be cheap. I wouldn't mind increasing the spawn rate of the herbs required to make them at Icecrown/Lordaeron either, but Blackrock still has other consumables that are dirt cheap, that no other realm has, so I don't really see how you have the grounds to complain. Especially since you've had it so cheap for several years.

BlackRock cannot use LAP and FAP after cost increases.
It's better to delete FAP and LAP for PVP on all servers.
I think that's fair.

All potions in BlackRock have been deleted since the patch.

Ofc its unfair ... wpvp players on blackrock cant use fap/lap anymore cuz its too expensive like they log on play wpvp for 2hours and waste like what 10-20 faps/laps? then they can go grind again

How about when you put it into Icecrown/Lordaeron perspective? For 2 hours of wPvP, you're burning +700g-1400g worth of FAP/LAP's. You think players on Icecrown/Lordaeron doesn't have to grind at all for these potions?

Actually moved back over to Icecrown after the change and honestly yeah, buying gold for coins and spamming FAPs is totally reasonable and not bad at all. Pretty clear advantage over Blackrock.
Again what I mentioned would be reasonable remedy would be to make the potions cost coins on Blackrock or points to incentivize playing other realms too. 5000 is an insane cost with no take on reality.
Realistically considering even the mods don't care about Blackrock, it's just better to jump ship before they find another way to feed us to Icecrown premades.
