As I said, I think there are better options for leveling but it doesn't really matter since the leveling phase is short so there is no need for min maxing.
Oh, I thought you meant Improved Shields for raiding at 80, not leveling.

The only thing is I wouldn't glyph for Windfury Weapon because I'm not going double Windfury, I'm going Windfury/Flametongue for Spellpower and to boost Lava Lash. So Feral Spirits and Stormstrike Glyphs are for sure, it's just the last glyph thats a questionmark right now, and most guides I've read recommend Fire Nova since I'll have the talents to boost it and it will reduce cooldown gaps.

The guide also uses WF/FT. WF/WF isn't viable in wotlk.
There are two viable options to play Enh shami in raids: The classic way is with WF/FT imbue and Agility gear. It's the gear setup that you see in the guide.
The other way is spellhance with FT/FT imbue and some caster gear. It deals high AoE dmg and almost as much single DPS as classic Enh.

It's also worth to mention that Enh is one of the most difficult specs in the game and not favored in raids. So in case you do pug raids I recommend to start with resto shami because it has higher demand and is easier to play.

I'm leveling an Ele-Resto Shaman on the side at the moment. But healing is not my preferred playstyle, tanking is, and Elemental is just so...boring. And it's not even that good of RDPS.

Enhancement may be hard to play, but it's a lot more fun, and from what I understand it is capable of significantly more DPS than Ele Shaman and could possibly even match a Boomie or a MM Hunter (A Tier) if it's played well.
