I have gotten all the way to level 43 and still can't get my defensive stance. The orc trainer in Razor hill has never offered the quest, the tauren in mulgore has not either. I found the one for undead but the actual quest itself is bugged. I can't click the item on the ground to summon the enemy to kill. I want to tank and will soon have to delete my toon and roll a druid and hope I can tank with that. Help please. I opened a ticket as well but I don't think those are actually looked at.

I am, Ive looked up the chains and checked every step from every quest giver. The only one available is the undead version in Brill. But It is bugged and I am unable to complete it.

Yeah, 1 week later, it's still bugged. Can't get it on my Undead Warrior too. I was going for prot, but f- us I guess.

I'm having this problem too. Is there a way we can connect with a GM to have them complete the quest for us? Defensive stance is like 1/3rd of the warrior class so is fairly unbalanced if there's no way to enable defensive stance.

If it is a bug and you don't report it in the bug tracker it's never going to get fixed. https://www.warmane.com/bugtracker
Make sure you specify in what part of the quest line you are stuck (as in, warrior trainer Mister Dingus is supposed to give a quest but he doesn't, etc)

I left my character name in one of the "unconfirmed" tickets. It's Viyer @ Icecrown if you have the ability to just complete the quest for me I would appreciate it!
In addition to posting on the bug report and posting to the forums, I've also opened an in-game ticket, and periodically tap a macro reaching out to a GM in global chat. Global is so busy though, I can't imagine that actually working.
Btw, I also sought out another warrior leveling in the area, waited for them to ding to lvl 10, and asked if they would group with me and try to start it. The trigger doesn't spawn for them either, so I think this bug is entirely a server-side one and is impacting, presumably all undead warriors on the server.

Update: A GM responded to my open in-game ticket and reset the quest line. This unfortunately left me facing the same bug, so I've made a follow-up plea to complete the quest, I think the command to use is `.quest complete 1819` if I have the quest ID correct.

GMs do not do that. They ask you to post in the bug tracker.

The support team was able to correct it for me on their second pass. Hopefully they can fix w/e the core issue is, but if you run into this, grab the quest, complete it, and create a ticket indicating that the trigger won't spawn and you need someone to complete it with the .quest complete command. Also note that the quest might seem like you can't turn it in (0/1 mobs slain) but ignore that, you'll see the filled in question mark on the quest giver's head when you approach him.
