Hi, so i was researching lately what would be good combos for boxing in comming release. The top combo i see everywhere is PSSSS (pala, 4x ele shamans) Or 5x ele shamans.
My goal is rdf farming for gold and maybe even try some 10x combos only for raid!
The difference is using some features from wotlk to tbc for example the bloodlust does not apply debuff, but totem stacking is not working as far as i know cus im alliance player.
What are your thoughts and ideas for boxing in tbc only for pve, your goals and why ( with some brief explanatio )
. Thank you.
There is no difference between ally and horde shami in terms of totem stacking.
Only totem of wrath does stack in TBCand BL/hero can be rotated.
So 1pala 4 shamis is a pretty strong dungeon setup.
that is very interesting, also ill start now of the 5x exp buff, with a druid tank probably and 4x shamy or priests. I am not sure if the 5x exp will stay for TBC because i want to boost a pala for rdf
In tbc ill play a hunter for a raiding, and what is your opinion for 5x hunters for dungeon farming, especaly at lvl 60, are they able to do dungeon leveling at this level and later heroics ?
the downside is that i wont be able to use RDF with 5x hunters which im sure would reflect the exp gain... during leveling
I think 5 hunters are a good setup for raiding because they deal high dps and they fulfill only the range DPS role which makes it easy to control them in a boss encounter. On the other hand in 5 man dungeons they are probably pretty bad.
You can only heal your pets so when they lose aggro you are screwed. Also you don't have resurrect so even if only one of your chars dies you'll have to walk back in the Dungeon.
I assume that you'll be able to clean some 5 man dungeons but definitely not in HC mode.
For dungeons you need a team which fulfills the tank and healer role. For raids you need to keep stuff simple so 5 range DPS work the best. That's the dilemma of PvE boxing.
