Yea, but anyway everyone will be in pvp gear, i think rating requirements is a good thing, so u cant just get all items for free
I do not want to spam this thread too much to keep it clean but no rating requirement is good for the game, giving people easier access to gearing will make games feel more even because everyone is on the same gearing level eventually. Also it limits arena boosting which is a good thing so now people will only sell title boosts for real money and stuff so taking options away from them is a nice start. "Free" S1 weapons might impact PvE gameplay however there is no reason to gatekeep an item like shoulders and giving less experienced players more gear will just give them a higher chance of winning games.

Literally advocating for communism lol No reward for performing better, hard work or using better strategy and an unhealthy obsession for everything to be "even" or "equal" which is completely pathetic. You work harder, spend more time, you get more and better loot, end of story.
By the way, on PTR atm debuff duration on Magtheridon's cubes was changed to pre-nerf. so by this the statement that Bosses will be post nerf is not really accurate anymore.
- Why did you decide to implement no rating requirements for PvP gear until S3?
because blizzlike. there was no rating requirement 15 years ago. also, arena points didnt reset between seasons in the original tbc. people could buy 2-3 items directly on season start.
- Will honor and marks be reset on prepatch or on the actual launch?
to be blizzlike, it should reset once prepatch starts. it should not reset once Outlands becomes accessible.
But, S1 offparts and alike shouldnt be buyable before Outlands becomes accessible

Yes, this is what I also think should be the case. But in Mercy's post it seems like Honor & Marks will be reset once Outland is accessible.
I would really like this to be verified, I have multiple alts I need to farm honor on if this is the case.

It quite clearly says marks and honor will be reset at tbc launch :). So honor and marks gathered within the whole year + prepatch will be reset at 16 nov.

You have no idea what communism is lol
Whatever, if you perform better you get the gear faster, just like it already happens in pve. What is pathetic in a game like wow is wanting an additional advantage even if you are already stronger. If you are stronger you win even with equal gear and once you reach the necessary rating you get the title you deserve (and maybe even the mount)
Will the Riding training be converted into Apprentice or Journeyman? The riding training we currently have is race-specific, and I've been told it depends on the mounts in your inventory, but what if you do not possess a mount but do possess Horse Riding or Mechanostrider Piloting? Is your riding skill unlearned? This was only addressed in a hotfix "Players that had a mount in their inventory but were not given the appropriate riding skill should find that this has been corrected."
Are the mentioned race-changes for Shop only?
How fast will progression be? I understand most of us are coming from Wrath servers, but without any late tier catch-up mechanics like halved lockouts or double badges, I worry most players will just "WRATH WHEN" before the year's over.
In addition to all of the Quality of Life additions, will there by any cross-faction features? Merc Mode? AH?
Lastly, is there any reason to roll Alliance? Faction imbalance has plagued every TBC server.
Seasonal servers shouldn't have rating requirement on any gear imo, maybe only weapons to prevent PvE poaching. It just disincentivizes participation on a server that is already pretty low on arena population.
