There's been a lot of questions regarding the content release for Onyxia and we'd like to answer some of those questions best we can. Here we'll share a concise listing of information from both the announcement and answers we have for questions so far. We are reading your questions and concerns and are giving answers where we can, and if it is appropriate for us to give that information at this time. The compiled information here will be updated as we have new information to share, and I will make a post when new information can be found so that you can check this thread for new posts.
Assume all times are in server time.

Pre-patch content;
- Blood Elves and Draenei will be available.

TBC content;
- XP rate will go back to the original standard for Onyxia, x3, when going beyond level 60. The x5 rates you are experiencing now are 1-60 only.

- No Tinnitus debuff.
- Reputation requirements for Heroic Dungeons will be set to honored.
- PvP gear will not have rating requirements until S3.
- Arena flushes will have double the rewards.
- Faction and race changes will be available when Phase 1 starts as to avoid unfair advantages during the leveling race.
- Raid bosses will be post-nerf.
* Changed to pre-patch due to last minute decision to change it.
During the OG TBC pre-patch, the blue PvP gear (often referred to as the “blue set” or "Rank 10 set") becomes accessible for purchase with gold only. Is this going to be the case on warmane as well ? Thank you for the response.
Apologies if my previous post somehow violated the forum rules, as it got removed. Still the question stands: Could we please be enlightened as to what the teams take on Gnomish Battle Chicken is? Do we get stacking Squawks like in TBCC or does Warmane take a different route?
- Will there be any increases for Honor gain?
- Why did you decide to implement no rating requirements for PvP gear until S3?
- Will items such as Nigh Invulnerability Belt be usable in arenas? If so, only until S3 like in classic or will they be usable all throughout TBC?
- Will the character level up to 60 boost be usable for Draenei/Blood elves?
- How much will Faction Change cost & will you implement some sort of restriction if it causes faction imbalance?
- Will honor and marks be reset on prepatch or on the actual launch?
Thanks for all the info you are putting out. You're doing a great job devs.
Well, I think increased Honor gain is quite must have along mentioned double points for flush and I think even Blizzard next classic wouldn't probably go with 1x rates on honor aswell.
Belt I'm not sure what they planning to do with it. The belt is even more OP in early seasons as potentional wearers wouldn't get hit for that much damage as in S3 they would have. Imagine S1 season, mage + rogue, both wearing this belt and get matched against warrior + druid. There is literally zero to none chance to beat mage rogue as WD since they don't have dispell (yes, the belt buff is dispellable)
I don't see any reason why boost shouldn't be usable on Draenei or BE chars, since it provides Warmane with some money, which is fine.
Honor and Marks are 99% wiped upon TBC launch, that's what I would say.
My additional stance is, that standard honor gain is very obsolete. I'm half PvE and half PvP and with 1x honor rates I will definitely not play PvP scene on S1 and S2 as it takes much much more time. The PvE equivalent for PvP increased honor gain is basically applied already, which I would say is "honored" requirement for Heroic dungeons as it takes waayyy less time getting the keys and finally farm HC dungeons.
