1. Help me with my 5 man team for TBC

    Hi all,

I like to box rdf and progress through the dungeons and gear myself. I use octopus and Jamba and it's basic.

I made a random group during classic which is:

    Tank: paladin
    Heal: priest
    Dps: war
    Dps: mage
    Dps: feral druid

I wasn't sure what tank or heal to use so I made basically all of them.

It's been fine grinding to 60 but I curious how you would help me optimize for tbc.

    I was thinking:

    Tank: pally
    Heal: ? (Priest or druid)
    Dps: war
    Dps: mage
Dps: replace druid with shaman or have priest be shadow

How do druids heal in tbc?

I'm pretty sure I want to replace druid with elemental shaman but I want to hear thoughts on healing with druid? Or should I keep it feral and just rock with my og setup.

I remember doing a similar comp on icecrown and having a really tough time with the first boss in ramparts.. but xp is so fast I had no gear really.

I know I'm not min maxed for aoe clearing but I wanted flexibility to play any of these chars solo because I enjoy them all.

How would you organize this group? Thanks

  2. You could make the shami resto. Shami has a pretty simple healing rotation, nice aoe heal with chain heal, mana tide totem for party wide mana reggen and WF totem for the warr.

And I'd replace the feral with Spriest for the party wide heal and mana regg.

You could also consider to replace the mage with WL because wl has very good synergy with Spriest. But on the other hand you'd lose the ability to make water.

  3. Thanks for the suggestions. I might just level another set (lock, shaman, hunter) so I can swap in and out since I can't decide.

The only thing I'm kind of certain on is that the druid needs to go.
