I have played TBC many a time
I have played Wow my entire life
I have Played Every Expansion multiple times
I have always been a paladin
I have always been a tank
that being said
Paladins are literally broken and need to be fixed.
RF is a joke it does nothing.
[Walks up to mob. drops CC, casts seal of the Crusader, Judgement, casts Seal of the Martyr, casts Holy Shield, spams Righteous Defense, Loses threat instantly....]
I should have triple the threat off the bat! for using CC + Martyr and that should be just enough.
im in half pre-bis literally casting every ability to be called a scrub because warmane cant script a paladin correctly
telling you its trash and needs to be worked on more.
Righteous Defense half the time does nothing. even on just normal trash that is obviously not attacking me. ill spam it onto that mob and its almost as if i was LOS or behind something. the spell will just do nothing. if I hop around or move it will tend to work. why is that hmm?

The thing is that Paladins are most likely broken in TBC by design. The big pattern in WoW is that devs shuffle classes around from best to worst and vice versa, so everyone gets his spot to shine. Other classes went through similar swings. BM hunters for instance were pretty good in TBC and totally unplayble in WotlK. For paladins on Onyxia this means suffering until WotlK gets released. Then just with the blink of an eye you become great.

To take more damage and benefit from spiritual attunement, I'd guess.
But yeah, they should be getting an sp weapon, and I don't see many prot paladins doing that.

It cannot be the goal of a tank to take MORE damage. In my opinion the whole concept of Spiritual Attunement defeats the purpose.
