Really appreciate the recent wave of bug fixes — and it’s great to see Frostwolf finally getting some well-deserved attention.
At the same time, it’s been a bit quiet from the staff side. :
I noticed the bug tracker has quite a few reports marked as Pending, Unconfirmed, Confirmed, or Duplicate — would it be possible to also mark the ones that are already Fixed? That might help reduce duplicate reports and give players a better idea of what’s been handled.
If it’s doable, an occasional changelog update would be awesome too. Even just a short summary or noting things like newly available instances (e.g., Throne of the Four Winds, which popped up today) would go a long way. I know you guys are swamped.
Also, if it fits into the workflow, would pushing fixes a bit more frequently — maybe twice a week instead of just Wednesdays — be something worth considering?
So whats being handled atm is opening instances that are unavailable, fixing achievements in instances that are available, quest fixes and general bugtracker cleanup.
The changelog will be posted when enough fixes have been accumulated and you can expect fixes to be available in a week or two since their status changes to pending.
The next instance release will be The Stonecore, followed by Blackwing Descent. I cant give an eta since im primarily on wotlk/onyxia
A couple more questions:
-Regarding instances: Right now, you're fixing Cataclysm instances. After that step is complete, are you going to focus more on opening the remaining Classic and TBC instances or fixing achievements from the current available instances (examples: Ulduar, Siege of Orgrimmar, Dragon Soul) or reworking instances that are currently doable in Pandaria (examples: Heart Of Fear, Mogu'shan Vaults).
-Regarding quests: Is the focus right now to fix as they appear on the Bugtracker or are you guys focusing on particular zones first like you're doing on Cataclysm instances?
