BG (PVP) ?ross realm Icecrown-Blackrock

Dear administration, why did you merge the PVP realms Icecrown and Blackrock?
Before the cross realm merger, there was a balance on the BG. Now it is not. Out of 30 players - more than 24 are from the Blackrock server.
I have 5k GS, I can't do anything to these guys.
Icecrown online is already big, BG has always been registered.
Please remove Black Doom players from BG. Icecrown players enter and leave BG constantly now. Desire to play PVP disappears.
We need balance in the level of gear.
A cry from the heart, please.

Arena points farmed at 2x the rate

I get full wrathful people in low MMRs

PVE gear available through PVP farming??

Icecrown pvp players have it so much tougher, harder to farm PVE content, lesser PVP gathering rate, MMR issues

Battleground Gear Brackets are already in place, which prevents you from getting into a battleground against fully geared players, when you're low geared yourself.
They're overall well balanced in that way.

Pacifical, I just played BG today. There is no talk of any balance.
I can attach a screenshot. 90% from Blackrock.

I was humiliated with 5k GS by guys who have A7 PVP set and 5.8-6.0 GS at the start.

Icecrown players just leave BG due to lack of balance.
I suggest that Blackrock play with those who have 5.8k GS on Icecrown

Disagree, the bracketing isn't too well granulated.
I entered higher bracket because of a trinket while I had most of frostsavage on still and started getting full wrathful opponents.

It just goes from okayish to hellish...

However, the comment still doesn't reflect the actual problem

Low mmr full wrathful people... mixed against server that needs to actually farm the gear... would and should never happen.

Solutions could be:
- Stop mixing blackrock into the pool / Granulate more
- Implement personal arena rating

Nothing has changed so far.
You need to save up for the A6 set for at least 2 months.
I am against players in A7 from Blackrock.
My chances against them are 0.
Administration, please review the balance! Many players suffer because of the imbalance of Blackrock players

I wonder why they decieded to mix thoose brackets.

It does not make any economic sense to them either.
If you do not mix the bracket of players from icecrown / lorderone with blackrock than there is higher chance people will donate so they can improve their gear.
Now instead of donating they can just play on blackrock and get most of the gear from the start and the rest is pretty easy to obtain.
Especially if we look on pvp players why they would farm on icecrown and buy some of the gear if they can play pvp on blackrock instead.

I hope they could review that decision and reevaluate, it would benefit the server and bg's and arena's would be more playable.

Hello, I believe that people are right and it is very unfair to mix players from Icecrown and Lordaeron with players from Blackrock who start with full S7 gear at 5.6K-6K GS. I think this should not happen because it destroys the balance between weaker players from Icecrown and Lordaeron and ruins the entire fun of PvP

I also believe that the Blackrock realm should be disconnected from the cross-realm with Icecrown and Lordaeron, or it should be better balanced so that people from Blackrock only encounter people wearing full Arena Point sets, due to the ruining of fun for everyone who is trying to achieve anything in PvP on Warmane. Arenas also have cross-realm, therefore gearing up your character the way they do from the start is impossible.

Is this also the reason I can't even enter BG's from Icecrown?

The supposed last 10 player counters are way of. They say about 2-10 min, but still I wait over 1,5 hours.....and just give up waiting :( This has happend now multiple times.

I feel like the main problem isn't the fact that you are matched with people with better gear, or at least for me.
If I farm and I buy some gear I want to feel rewarded, and there always will be a people that outgear you in the arenas and bg's.
But if they outgear you because they played more, or they spend a money so server can run for another 10 years than it's perfectly fine for me.

Problem is that blackrock players don't need to do anything. It kills the desire to grind like crazy or spend your money.

Solution is easy. make blackrock seasonal. pvp players have nothing better to do than grind their gear or make new teams anyway. reset the realm every now and then. full wipe or partial wipe watever. make them work for it.

Don't hate me for it, but I like this way. I don't mind being under geared on most classes and I very much enjoy playing vs Blackrock players as they're usually a bit more skilled as well. Of course it sucks if you're playing something like a fresh lvl 80 warrior. But by the way, you can buy shadowmournes on Icecrown anyway so most of the arguments about free gear are making no sense.

admins won't do anything..i think the blackrock server should only do bgs with players from there..so that there is no crossover anymore, because they have an advantage in bgs.

nashu you can do BG's without Blackrock players, just make a character with below 232 gear and you wont get in their gearbracket, easy cheap also more fun imo since it the 'meta' changes abit without all the ICC gear.
