Is there any real reason that players keep repeating the same thing that has already been asked before, when in every single released season that information only comes later, often around when the store is about to be updated and not earlier, up to the point of there being a thread where the creator says he knows this but asked repeatedly anyway?

I believe the store gets updated based on the progression of the player base. In previous tier releases a massive amount of guilds in week 1 had cleared the content. This time though only 9 guilds have killed Illidan at this point. Warmane gives players the opportunity first to experience the content. I expect a lot more to clear it in the coming week.

Got it! So for those wondering, Shop updates are done at the discretion of the team and are not systematic - There is a lot of fake news out there so posts from the team are helpful on this stuff.

Shop update will come in a 'shadow drop' fashion, meaning that the shop updates are not to be something that are predictable, as suggested by other people in this thread. Thank you!

"Marketplace: To elaborate on what we said on the main post, the plan is to have item releases similar to Frostmourne, but the items will be available sooner. This means that the top guilds will be able to clear the content and get their achievements and whatnot without the assistance of the shop, but the items will arrive sooner on the shop than they did on Frostmourne."

So no, shop updates are made when players have progressed the content. That's a metric without a set date and is not predictable. T6 is not getting cleared as fast as previous tiers. The end.
