The things I wrote arent my opinion,
the words that warmane staff phrased on the release have a defintion, I didnt make the definition. I just explained what the words mean if you take the definition of the phrase „at the weekend or slightly before“
I said if you freak out before the end of the deadline and say they didnt make it in time... then you are wrong as per definition because there is still time
left. I dont see how it is my opinion.
When you take what people wrote about the staff and how many assumptions and claims they made... you can take the definition of ungrateful and disrespectful and read the sentences people wrote... it shouldnt be possible to come to other conclusions than the ones I wrote, at least if you are really honest and dont make excuses for your own behaviour
b) what I tried to say is that only because something is important to yourself it doesnt mean it is important for everyone else;
thats why I said that my guess is that around 1k people will buy S2 gear from
the shop ASAP and are thus waiting for the update to happen ASAP.
All people who do not buy S2 items from store ASAP dont care if they are released in time or not; it doesnt matter for them if the items are released on point or not (minus some people that just take the release of items as an example for the trustworthyness of warmanes timeframes)
How many people (not characters) do you think invest real money for buying PvP gear from
S2? It shouldnt be too many because wide parts of the playerbase dont PvP or already dont need S2 Items anymore or have S1 and dont think the gain from S2 is worth it to spend money or gold for coins on these minor upgrades... so only a small very specific range of players are affected.
Not my personal opinion but rough estimations if you look how many people would have a benefit from it
if you put that in relation to all the other player on the server (around 20k should be a not too far away guess) then this topic only matters for 5% of population...
I said that to show that its only affecting a minority of people... and that the minority shouldnt behave as its the most important thing in the world
the fixes you are speaking of are a completely different story; the bugs are affecting way more people of the server (yes I know it doesnt say how many ppl care for) so on a priority list fixing bugs should be higher than implementing S2 stuff
the number of people reporting the bugs has nothing to do with how many player are affected by the bugs nor how many players would like them to be fixed...
c) Its not like I dont understand that if you critisize in a constructive manner and nothing changes it can be frustrating.
but I said something in advance:
if nothing changes, there is a reason for it.
more often than not, you should check wether your criticism is correct or not.
what you have to keep in mind: its warmanes decision what they do and what not
I critisized statements that were very negative and often very subjective because I think nobody that is running such a huge project deserves such bad postings.
Not a single player is forced to play here
Not a single donation is forced by the staff
If you like what you get (FOR FREE), then you are FREE to donate; I already wrote something about what donations are and mean
I tried to give some of the haters the chance a different point of view, namely a point of view that is NOT THEIR OWN... because your own point of view is more often than not a bad advisor if you want to discuss in a way that is solution oriented.
To the BT release part: I dont know if they postponed it (afaik they didnt), I can only say that when they said it will be released at 13pm 21st january they did it on point and as far I can tell bug free for 90% of the content + fixed most if the few bugs within the first week
Feel free to tell me where I‘m wrong Ostlimpa
