One reason: using the most technologically advanced tools to produce even more advanced tools , free schooling and you get paid while you are learning from either army scientist or they send you out to a university to learn. Just because the current system is flawed and warfare for some reason has heavy influence over how technology develops does not mean it can't and shouldn't be changed. I'm not sure what you're actually trying to say here. I'm not denying that the army had influence on many advances in technology. Any person with basic reading comprehension would notice that I actually admit that to be true. What I did say is that there is not a single reason why military funding couldn't instead be used to fund ongoing projects in the science community instead. We'd be significantly more advanced if our areas of technological interest didn't suddenly get reduced to "How will this help me win?" every time there's a war.Quote:

Yes, a goat is a living breathing creature and they have to save it using the equipment they have available on the field. Compare that few month training to that that an doctor has to do for eight years, they don't even start working on real living things for quite a few years.Quote:
