I'm not going to lie. It bothers me a great deal. Probably more than it should. As a staff member, I don't have the option of just ignoring a person. If they break the rules for something like staff disrespect, then of course I reserve every right to punish them in accordance with the rules. Some people would think that helps, but it really doesn't. If anything, it makes it worse. While a large portion of my job description is just that, enforcing the rules, that doesn't mean that has anything to do with my desire to keep doing what I do. That isn't even to mention those people who don't quite break the rules, so they get to stick around and spread their negativity. So how do I deal with the abuse? Well, it's fairly simple. I don't. I "deal with it". I just keep on going. Sure, it's made me sour in some ways that I really wish it hadn't, and it's changed me; I'm a very different person than I was 5 years ago because of it.Quote:

I've noticed people love victimizing themselves too sometimes, especially in gaming communities.
Saying things like they've changed because of how mistreated they were in the game and all that overly melo-dramatic puppy-talk. Just makes me want to slap some sense into a brother, you know?
