Really? where in the terms of service does it say only software that broadcasts keystrokes is deemed third party software we're talking about? there is no difference.

I'm pretty sure it is possible. And if you're having problems with the healers just constantly interrupt and stun the shamans and nuke heals, then deal with the shamans. Of course this all requires coordination, but hard /=/ impossible.

I personally don't mind this "ridiculous" multiboxing. It brings new wind to the bgs and I find it simply amusing to get one shot like that.

This has been addressed, I don't know a million times now ? On retail there was a monthly subscription that put a cap on how many characters you could box.
For a 20+ MB setup you would pay over 250euro a month, which is unsustainable. So for you to claim that this is the way blizzard intended it is just as false.

EDIT: I just woke up, this whole post should be directed towards the guy you're replying to. Also the misinterpretation of the TOS is quite amusing.

But if you'd like to continue with your logic then I'm assuming that you're against using an operating system to play. I mean it's third-party after all. Let's not forget keyboards either, bindings are obviously faster so it's unfair. And seriously, do you even know what a bot is? Because it sure as hell isn't a HUD, which is all those addons provide.

And yet, in the end, this whole server is against Blizzard's TOS so why on earth would anyone think that it applies here?

To be fair, and I'm sure you've witnessed this before, anything with a difficulty level above spray and pray is impossible for a lot of people.

While we're on the topic of "unfair" 3rd party software, we might as well include YouTube, Warmane Forums, Google, elitist jerks, porn, and archive.org. It's not fair at all that people who have common sense use these resources to their advantage. Ban them all.

Fair enough, but just because most find anything beyond "spray and pray" , as you put it, impossible, doesn't mean that their thread spamming is a valid reason to ban mbx-ing.

Yeah, I couldn't think of a wow version of pray and spray so I went with that, and I agree that it gives them no valid reason to ban it. I don't multibox personally but I do PvP, less now than in previous years, and I've spent a lot of time farming multiboxers outside of ICC with 1-2 other people recently. My view on the situation is basically what I said earlier:

None of these clips are best in slot, and the way Blizzard progresses all realms with the same patches and expansions, those toons are already beyond useless. It's nothing compared to here where you can get best in slot, and be best in slot for life. I wonder if the guy from those clips is still paying for all those subscriptions, or IS it unsustainable after all ?

Yes, the character I left on alliance because I quit playing it over a year ago. Let's use that as an example. Here, you can armory one of my alchemists too, I'm sure that'll be really relevant. This is almost as bad as your selective reading on Blizzard TOS.

The point is you don't regularly PVP on ragnaros obviously, so this whole thread should not even concern you. You experience no toxic gameplay caused by multiboxing in PVE, who cares some MBX is solo'ing every raid, it does not spoil the gameplay for 10-40 other players.

I'm pretty sure that's just your assumption of me. And anyone with half a brain would know that multiboxing in pve is even dumber than pvp. Here's the main reason why multiboxing pve is stupid: Spread mechanics.

addressed a million times huh? your really gonna say that? lol like this topic hasn't? nothing more to say on the 3rd party software? change your tune pretty quick to something about money per month now... funny how you change your argument when something logical is pointed out. if they wanted to stop they would have. period, intended or unintended they don't mind it, only a few of you do, but only when the boxer is beating you mercilessly.

by all means tho keep pointing things out, i really enjoy turning it around on you.

250 might be unattainable for you, its not for some people.

Spread mechanics. sometimes its a challenge, sometimes not, i can solo some stuff, some i can't. I choose to look at a game mechanic as something to try and come up with solutions for.

I enjoy PvE boxing. i think its silly to wait in que for a rdf, when i can solo them w/ a 5 man team, but I'm not here calling your chosen play style dumb...
