UB problem #1: I speak the truth, but people don't like hearing it so they dismiss me as a being a troll.

One thing that saddens me is that people here really criticize people because of poor grammar.
I'm not american nor was I blessed with having English as my primary language but that kind of disposition makes me feel bad about myself.
Am I unfortunate to be born in a foreign country? People of the First Nation don't get much influence from the "outside" world
It shouldn't, because it's rare that people who speak English as thier primary language will actually have a 2nd language that they speak fluently. This shouldn't be confused with the times when you mess with your friends, just for fun. Everyone has thier own strong points and weak points, if grammar isn't a strong point of yours then don't feel bad about it. It's important to develope a convidence towards your weak points.
For example, my english is ****ty, I'm even aware of most of the mistakes I do. If someone feels the need to point out a mistake I did, go ahead. I learned the language by myself and still try to improve it. Anyone who's been here for some time will proably remember how aweful my english used to be, it might not be good but people understand me fine, that's all that matters. No one is perfect, I'm proud of what I achieved by myself.
