Nope, you see....for example when you look at the stars and see some of them changing colors rapodly it most likely means thet they no loger exist and what you see is just the remnants of light reaching the Earth.
It is because light must travel a huge distance from its star to us, and it takes so much time that even though we see a shining star, it no longer exists.
Now let's go back to dinosaurs. Because the process is pretty similar when we try to check other galaxies the "picture" we "see" is delayed. I've red about it in a scientific journal few days ago. They said, that this delay is so huge, that if there is a life in the nearest galaxy, what they see from their planet is a picture of the Earth when there were still dinosaurs on it. I know, that it sounds ridiculous and maybe I could show it in a better way, but that's what I know for sure.
