5 player limit - Multiboxing

There are typically more than one boxer team. The engines have to be facing forward to do anything, and they have the turning speed of a snail.

That's besides the point, though. This rule may have an impact on Wintergrasp, but that has nothing to do with why it was implemented to my knowledge.

I've played hundreds of WGs, and have not seen a siege being able to kill a geared 25 man team (without tenacity ofc) alone with a gunner. It doesn't happen. They have engineering rockets. Rocket boots.

Yes because multiboxers cant utilize vehicles properly and everytime you hit multiboxers you are hitting 25 character? So by default vehicles are much better for single boxers and they make more.

Making a vehicle in WG is not going out of your way to counter something, it's literally win condition of that battleground.

You can rotate the cannon on almost 360 degrees and the vehicle itself has fast turning speed.

Rockets are 45 yards and they barely do 25% of siege engine hp

There is one multiboxer that runs mass rocket boots, you are killing your own chars if you use rocket boots.

It doesn't happen because nobody knows how to kite with siege engine.

It doesn't happen because its's all just theoretical. What do you do if there's a few other people attacking you while you're trying to nuke the multiboxer? Or what about another boxer? Or an enemy siege/demo? You gonna kite them all?

It's getting hard for me to answer this because do you not see the flaw in your argument yourself?

I am talking about scenario of 2 vs 25 right?

This already creates 23 players advantage in a battleground with fixed amount of players.

Now you are adding another characters and a multiboxer?

You see the flaw yourself?

Statistically the 2 players in siege engine would have 23 more players on their side that could protect the vehicle or damage/cc the multiboxer.

If you'd stop trying to invent reasons for why the vehicles are a viable solution to multiboxers, you wouldn't have to keep moving the goal posts. A chicken with the appropriate skill can kill a 25-man multiboxer too, but it shouldn't be necessary for me to shine my divine light upon a Wintergrasp match in order for there to be an appropriate counter. That's not how balance works. I don't even know why you're arguing this. It has nothing to do with the thread, and I don't think anyone actually cares. Wintergrasp isn't and hasn't been played as intended for a long time. There is no denying that fact.

Quests, mob farming, exploration, etc. Those all fall under the "Player versus Environment" category, friend.

your numbers are off by a big margin. what "breaks" the economy is the amount of DKs you can make on accounts with VIP status. Which is basically what makes them money. If they remove the ability to create 10 dks on a VIP account - THAT will help the economy.

But let's face it, they will never do that. We all know why. For the same reason they announced this change AFTER spring coin bonuses.
Me personally I love the change. I can milk the AH regardless, 4-5 windows are more than enough for that. Logging only 5 windows at a time doesnt make a difference if you only need those accounts for passive gold income.

There was 32 man fully pvp geared pvp multiboxer back in wotlk retail. Yet he didn't play Wintergrasp and instead he was only playing AV.

Why? Because PvP retail players had enough game knowledge to know how to counter him with vehicles + cannons and overall macro gameplay. It was unwinnable if you had him on your team.



This will be the same on Wotlk classic, multiboxers will get absolutely demolished by min maxing pvp players.

In the end you are right, it's not played as intented but it has nothing to do with multiboxers.

So should i take that as a yes that i can still login 25 toons to do PvE in the open world, as long as i don't seek out PvP?
