This vid has a lot of good points. There is nothing social about texting, apps, facebook and other social media. If you need a smartphone to maintain your social life, then you have a problem.

I have seen a few of my IRL friends sit next to each other and text, was a little scary tbh. I personally dont use FB, I mainly use skype to talk to others. I believe my smartphone habbits reflect pretty well there. I prefer to have skype calls instead of chats, just as much as I prefer to have a phonecall instead of sending an SMS. I know what you mean. I almost never text. I prefer to simply call someone and only if I have to. I still prefer face to face talk with friends rather than sitting and texting.
