Hey all.
I wrote a private message to a GM regarding the following topic, but I decided to come here and to ask for your opinion. So, if someone went to this page and read the principles of rolling loot in dungeons:

they would know, that the rules are quite simple. NEED is for your own MS, GREED - for everything else, unless all other party members give you permission to roll NEED for whatever reason (like OS). However, how would this apply to the following case - a hybrid class replacing a tank or a healer, who had left the group prematurely?
In order to simplify the example, I would like to concentrate on a single class and spec - feral druid. So, picture this: The tank leaves, the druid gets asked to turn into a bear, the whole group requeues (the druid selects the shield icon) and the RDF continues. I can imagine, that the other party members are aware, that the feral druid was playing as a DPS initially, and that they won't mind the bear rolling on dps items. Now let's imagine how a rogue or a hunter joins the party and they get annoyed, that the "tank" is rolling on their stuff. The other guys could tell the newcomer, that the bear was a cat initially and is only rolling for its MS, but that person decides to report the bear anyway. What happens next? The GMs don't keep chat logs, so could there be a chance, that the player gets banned unfairly? Actually, is it wrong, if the replacing tank/healer selects the role of a tank/healer and continues to roll on their dps items?
I would like to clarify something. Personally I haven't experienced something so serious, I am only asking those things out of pure curiosity.
Thanks for reading!
