recent mac os do not support 32 bit app.
As workaround MAC users use wotlk for windows:
1. You can use Wotlk for windows by using "CrossOver" (by following this guide http://forum.warmane.com/showthread....=1#post3043338 ))
2. Otherwise, here a different solution by using Wineskin:

Btw these workaround do NOT work if you have M1 as cpu.
So, in your case, you may try as these guys said with Parallels (and wotlk for windoes as well):

sorry, link corrected
Btw it was just a guy saying:
I'm playing WotLK 3.3.5a on my MacBook with M1 ARM Processor. I had to install Parallels + Windows 11 (insider preview) and the game works perfectly with graphics set to "ultra" and at max resolution! I was very surprised to see this game working flawlessly in a virtual machine on a fanless macbook!!!
On Ultra??? What am i missing? i am playing wotlk through Parallels too (MacBook Pro m1 16gb Ram) fair graphics and it gets Hot! i dont want my Mac to get that Hot for a long time...
