WotLK Disappearance of characters from 7 years ago

Hello everyone,

Recently, I returned to the game World of Warcraft after a seven-year hiatus and noticed that all of my characters have suddenly vanished. I would appreciate it if someone could share any information or experiences regarding this issue.

To provide some context, I had several high-level characters with a significant amount of time and effort invested in them. However, when I logged into my account recently, all of my advanced levels, equipment, and other distinctive aspects of my characters were gone.

I assume it's possible that my account may have been deleted due to inactivity, but I want to explore all possibilities. Have other players had similar experiences? Is there any way to recover my lost characters or at least obtain some information about their disappearance?

All suspicious activity can be tracked by account history on site.

Your long neglected account is most likely clear due to "Moltdown". Everyone had several years of support service to compensate for lost accounta, but 7 years is far to long period of time.

So feel free to start from the scratch.

All molten items are gone, no recovery for those any more.

If your characters weren't deleted due to Inactivity Cleanup, they were deleted by somebody (else) with access to your account, "friend" or somebody sneaky. Character restoration period is 30 days, so chances are they are all gone.

If you had coin purchases made on Warmane, those should be recoverable still.
