No. Purified is for blue socket only. There is no reason for a lock to use a purified in a red socket, ever.
Fixed links, updated travel notes for minion quests. Working on adding "when to break socket bonus" to main post, should be finished by the weekend.
Im having trouble with the felhunter... im an undead lock and im lvl 51.. carendin halgar wont give me any quest.
Edit: Had already start the quest, thats why it wouldnt pop up... thanks
I don't know if you answered to this question before. If you did, i'm sorry for ask it again...
Is really need to achieve 135 spell penetration if I ALWAYS use Curse of Elements??
That's a big debate I don't really want to get into again and sadly it looks like the last big debate on it was purged. So, in short, if you're aff get spell pen cause you shouldn't ever be using CoE. For demo and destro, you're supposed to get spell pen cause even CoE can be resisted without it, but I think that is bugged so do what you wish.
Nice guide. The pvp spec is good but for people that don't keep DM off auto they could put 1 point into imp fel hunter so it never runs out of mana. it'll help untill you learn to use DM on yourself and teammates.
I'm playing a level 80 warlock and wanted to go do the infernal quest chain. So I talked to the the Imp in Felwood and collected the three essences and brought them back. It says the quest is complete but it won't allow me to push the "complete" button when I talk to the Imp. Is there something I am missing or is this quest just bugged right now?
Been awhile since I've done that quest so not sure. Realm and race?
Sorry for taking so long, was difficult to find time with guild drama and work. I tested this on ragnaros on 2 different races, gnome and forsaken, and had no trouble with either race. Did you mistakenly put one of the essences in the bank before turning it in?
If you're sure you had all the essences in your bags at the time you turned it in, I would suggest dropping the quest and retaking otherwise farm for the book (method 2).
I am sure it was the 2nd "way"! I had a lot of problems from the same type while I was leveling (but not even 1 problem with Class quests, only with general quests)! Just drop the quest as Eber said and take it again!
"Prefer" is subjective, and it pertains to what you want. For example, a player may stick to Destruction even at extremely high gear levels (in which Affliction and Demonology blow past Destruction) because it's what he prefers.
For leveling, usually Affliction prior to level 50, and after which you can switch to Demonology (for Felguard) or stick to Affliction. Felguard is a beast at leveling, while Affliction has virtually zero downtime if you do it right (unless you die from a gank/elite of course).
Quitting WoW for personal reasons so I won't be keeping this updated, nor will I get around to adding the cata info like I was wanting to. I hope someone else is able to do that for you all.
I'll clean up the current info since it is relevant for as long as we have wrath servers.
I know this next part is off topic but I've enjoyed my discussions with all of you and I'm glad I got to talk to and learn from a lot of you. :)
Sorry to see you go.You gave out alot of helpful info.Hope life goes well for you abd will see you come back some day............they always come back for some reason or other.
