Hi Aurora, I believe I have the commitment to be able to join your successful teams. My problem is gear - which is currently nowhere near the standard needed for heroic content. Do your teams still do non-heroic version of ICC10/25 (I know first post says they are on farm, but I don't know how true this is), or are potential members expected to obtain gear elsewhere (such as PUG raids)?

Basically in order to join our runs you need to gear up in them if i get what you mean. While we do not have a particular gs req, we also do not carry our members. You can still try filling in an application, and I'd say, chances of getting in are a lot more dependant on how your application is, then your gear. Still, if you are that far from joining heroix, it might be a problem.
And yes we run normals on a weekly basis as well.

My gear is pretty much BIS non-raids, so mostly from EOT, Frozen Halls and T9, with Battered Hilt weapon. Considering this, I can see I would be wasting my time applying, even more so considering my class is currently closed.

EDIT: I didn't intend my question to be in a "carry others" sense, but giving others' that are ready to raid access to worthwhile/successful parties (Grouping with clueless PUGs is never fun).

Hello Fliss,

Since we're an endgame raiding guild, we're looking for players who:

1) Know how to play the class they use
2) Know Encounter tactics
3) Have good gear(Sufficient enough to pull a decent amount of dps/hps suitable for Heroics)

However, if you lack gear, it's not the end of the world. It's true that you may not get into the HC raids but there's a 'possibility' of still getting into the guild. Exceptional applicants will always be considered. Also, if you think you're good enough and your character is capable for normal raids then you can tag along for normals(Where you'll probably gear up really quick since most of the items in our normals are usually DEed). What Scarleita meant was showing weak performance in raids which we aren't really fond of.

It's part of our aim to gear everyone up fully so there are more players for HCs and progression.

I see, thank you. I may consider applying at a future date, but I'll start to gear up my shaman to the gear level my druid is at (BIS without raiding) which would hopefully lead to a more successful application.
