It depends on how much you drink really, if you don't go overboard you really shouldn't run into any problems.

I guess so. Person of my age, from my town, recently died of it. I'm biased as fck. Since we are talking about drinks, do you guys like rum ?
Oh... nvm then...
Rum was the first alcohol drink I drank, that was about 2 years ago and I didn't know how much to drink, and I ended up drinking 6 or 7 cups, not shots, cups of it.
Worst hangover of my life, I can't stand the stuff anymore.
I started drinking nearly 7 years ago. It was an awesome way to drown my problems/sorrows, and it still is.
Good old alcohol, the cause of and solution to all of life's problems.
How can you feel better about your sorrows after you get drunk? I will never understand. More often than not, all you feel is a deep sickness. No, you don't feel better. The truth is, you don't feel nothing at all, which, arguably is better than feeling sadness. Homines libenter quod volunt credunt.

I like a strong drink once in a while, as much as the next person, but I will never get drunk for the sake of it. Drunk people are acting irrational, can not hold themselves and have no control. He who gets drunk often, usually has deeper problems such as lack of discipline and emotional turmoil. By the way, who managed to get a hold of some mead? I know that it's pretty rare because a lot of people don't enjoy it's taste. But there is a brewery nearby and they have mead as well. That I enjoy. Bibo ergo sum.
In most cases, this ^
When I'm (somewhat) drunk, I don't give a **** about anything and that makes me rather happy. (I'm not aggressive by any means, unless provoked of course)
But then I get sober and reality catches up to me. And reality makes me sad.
It's like my own cycle of happiness.
Don't judge me, I'm a somewhat heavy drinker.
Drunk people don't act irrational.
*****s, morons, etc. act irrational.
Being drunk has nothing to do with your mental state of awareness ~ if you can control your actions and emotions, you'll be fine.
The only people who will judge you will be the people who don't know how it's like to be in that position, a lot of people are close minded and only see the situation in their own eyes.
It's sad how so many people judge people so quickly.
It varies from person. Drink doesn't really change my mood, it amplifies it. If I was in good mood, I'll have superfun time, if I'm not I'll prolly fall asleep fast. Drunk people act more honest in general. One thing that greatly annoys me about it is lot of persons pretending they are drunk to achieve something.
I dream of making fake alcohol party. Half of people gonna pretend they are drunk after hour...
I'm an emotional drunk lawl. I don't like cry and stuff like that, I just get all sad and all the hardships I've had swims up to the surface to haunt me if that makes sense. I can be a happy drunk too occasionally ^^
Shiina, unfortunately, the wild majority of "*****s, morons, etc" are drunkards, consuming large quantities of alcohol and getting drunk every day or at every occasion, even if it's highly uncalled for. I made my statement based on the majority. That's what statistics are for after all. It's an evaluation of the masses. Of course, individually speaking, not everyone who gets drunk acts in a destructive manner. But most of them do.

But instead of getting drunk to the boot and feeling the same way 2 days after, why not trying to move on forget the past, start anew, or try to solve the problem in discussion? I have a lot of problems and sorrows myself, more than the average person, but I will never succumb into drinking because this or that or him or her. Why hide behind alcohol?
I watched 12 episode of Grey's Anatomy today... and I cried like a baby.
So glad I'm a girl and it's completely acceptable to bawl my eyes out at a TV program.
What episode are you on?
