WoW is dead for me. I love the lore and everything about WC universe but I just can't enjoy WoW anymore. I play some Skyrim and good ol' MW here and there. Might start that ToA Lawll posted. Seems quite awesome.
play this instead, it's a LOT like Skyrim, but better imho:
![]()
What? No lol. It's not better than Skyrim. I tried it and I kinda hated it but don't take my word for it, I am not a reviewer. It's not that bad, but man, it's NOWHERE close to Skyrim.
Watch this:
Here
Just wondering...did you actually read the comments for the video you just linked? o.o Almost everyone there LOVES the game, and I agree.
If you think Skyrim is better that's fine, it's your opinion but there are some MAJOR cons:
- It's wayyyyy too easy to **** up the main quest chain for good, forcing you to reroll a character.
- There's wayyyyy too much running around, not really a fast travel option to the major towns and cities (like in Reckoning) unless you're already IN a major town or city.
- While you're spending 2O minutes getting to where you need to be (cough the guys on the mountain, **** THEIR NAMES ARE ON THE TIP OF MY TONGUE >.<), you'll encounter a hostile npc that's like 10 levels higher than you out of ****ING NOWHERE, it kills you, and then you're back where you were before you started running to the mountain because you forget to save. I have heard of an auto-save feature but not sure how to activate it.
- I don't like the animations when you're running anywhere, it looks too choppy and hard to control.
The game is VERY VERY elaborate, and that's not necessarily a bad thing, but it can be really confusing at times and I don't like spending half the time I should be playing the game watching youtube videos on how to play the game. Reckoning has a lot of the same components (even making/gemming your own gear + a ton of side quests). Just my 2 cents comparing the two.
KoA: Reckoning got a VERY unfair review this year, it's really disappointing as 38 Studios is now bankrupt and there probably won't be a sequel.
/end rant.
Edit: Watching the video, this is ****ing hilarious, thanks for showing it to me Negan. :)
When the Empire surrendered to the DESIREmeri Dominion, they shamed us all!

So rise up! Rise up, children of the Empire! Rise up, DESIREcloaks! Embrace the word of mighty DESIRE, he who is both man and Divine!

Man, story is weak but character freedom and visuals give me DESIRE. My only problem is short and linear main quest with lack of depth, and dragons randomly sacking cities and killing half of NPC's before I reach the scene. Also, 30x critical with dagger is especially good.
Wasn't reckoning that game which was like an mmo in just about every way, yet it's a single player?
Yea... no.
I will probably (most likely) try to play it again because I didn't like it the first time. Who knows, maybe this time I will see it in a positive light and will try to finish it a whole.
Skyrim is not about finishing the main quest and get done with it. It's about making your own story. I have a character that didn't even talk to Gerdur in Riverwood, but he's the Listener of the Dark Brotherhood and assassinated the Emperor. He just can't be arsed to speak with a lowly peasant of a woman.
Anyway I agree with you. the reviewers were too hard on KoA and I would, in all honesty, like to see it develop into something BETTER. It has the potential, but there are these minor things that didn't made me play the game.
Dark Souls. Now THAT is a mother ****er.
Meh, I sided with Imperials in Skyrim. Story is shallow, but I really like how did Civil War reflect on me. Empire wanna slice of my head. I run off with Stormcloaks and they give me quest to join them. Later on I travel there, listen to inspiring speech of Ulfric that really made me affiliate with them. I exit and enter Gray quarter just to see what a hypocrite and racist he is. My love for Morrowind awaken. Yea I sometimes immerse too much xD
That part gave me no trouble, even on Master.
He must've had problems with the frost troll up there hahaha
