Four years ago, when I was on a scouts competition of sorts, three seemingly ordinary humans(I was one of them) stumbled upon what turned out to be the greatest discovery ever. It all started with simple question: "If you were hungry in the desert, and by any means had nothing to eat, would you do someone a blowjob for a burek?"... After long religious and metaphysical debate spiced with some toilet humour and bakery comparisons, we came to ultimate conclusion. We realized that the burek is in the center of the Universe. It's the golden disk that rises every day, it's behind the head of every saint guy ever(texture of halo looks exactly like it). Chuck Norris dropped it in prehistory and it led to discovery of the wheel(longer story, pun in Serbian). There are tons of examples throughout the history that show subtle but undeniable influence of Burek on the history of mankind.
We had Burek for breakfast the following morning. We prayed to it and performed a ritual. Then we took a big greasy paper that we all signed and promised each other to eat burek at our hometowns(all different) when we return. And we did it. Also ate burek at each of our cites. It forged a friendship that any other meal could not. Hail the Burek!
