Okay, how do you throw the ball? Do you just throw it right down the middle or do you throw it to one side and have it spin at the end?

I throw a hook.
It snaps much later than most balls do, but it has a much more vicious arc.

This means more carry.
This also means sicker splits.

A friend of mine records his own bowling by setting his phone on a stand. Perhaps I'll get him to record me and post it here.
That way, you can all laugh at my form. My balance is absolutely awful, but it produces insane results.

I always take the heaviest ball possible for bowling, and I just somehow push it forth with my body motion. Results vary greatly. I tend to get better scores when I aim into the middle of the track, not to the pins.
