got to disagree with u there jairick. although gear is easy to obtain now, 370 ilvl full pve is not possible without donations/heroic raiding right now. even fully epic-ed, most people are in the range of 365.

Did a BWD run one day, asked people to recite Romeo and Juliet.
**** ilvl, I mean my 340 blue geared *** (Hunter) in BH did more DPS than the other 5 full PvE BIS DPS by about 7k difference.
Except Roxy, Roxy pulled moar DPS, but I think it was only 1k more than me.
People need to realise it's class skill over gear, how you work with what you got not being tards with BIS gear and not knowing your skills.

Bigger chance too avoid noobs. You even find useless people in top guilds, I'm sick of seeing people doing like 10k with 368 item level.... So better get a guild that you feel fit you.

try to ignore some of the replies here, the have no ideea why they are talking in the first place
it mostly depends on the group
for example, im a healer and i have my trusted tanks which i go farming with, we all are ~370 ilvl
this being said, ofc we are gonna require dps with a high ilvl, we want you to do dps higher than 15k so the farming will go smooth and fast but at the same time NOT be 2 shotted by a boss or a skill he does
yet again, usually a high ilvl means u know most of the dungeons tactics
another example: if i go with high ilvl ppl that know their tactics SCHC usually takes under 10 mins, randoms with low mmr take 15-20 mins +

as i remember, i've never asked for an ilvl to farm jp in Stonecore, and every run was fast and i had a lot of fun sometimes laughing at some bad pull or if something went wrong in some boss :P i learned to kill bosses by "trying and dying", watching videos on youtube, and i know that many people maybe are looking for some group to learn how to kill some boss, tactis, etc, and don't have a PvE oriented guild... and instead of just say to them "n00bz i leave, you're all n00bz *derp face*", i like to explain and wipe a few times if it's necesary until they at least learn something... btw i'm a healer, and i like the fact that they have to trust me to survive(?)... jk XD i just play mostly to have fun and learn more to be a better and more useful player in the game :P
Anyways that's just my point of view and my way to play. I know that some people just want to do everything fast or maybe they don't have time (or don't want) to explain tactics, and that's fine too, it's just their way to play. i like more to help (like some people helped me to get gear) and enjoy the game instead of just complain about a wipe :)

If people really want too join then they can atleast write something more than "Please inv me" when people serach groups.
"Hello, 331 ilvl combat rogue, I can all tactics, I know my class very well and do 10k+ dps with only 331 item level, I would love too join your group."
If they want too join groups, then goo watch videos how to play your class and tacts on all bosses.

Personally i rarely do 5-man dungeons without at least 2-3 guild members, and when I do try to find someone on global to fill a spot I ask for a lot because I wish to go through any dungeon in 30 minutes tops and not have people drag down the team.
I mean, is it wrong to have some kind of standard when I CREATE THE TEAM?
If you choose to join a crappy guild or not join one at all, expect to be shunned because I have no indication that I can trust your abilities.
If you really think that you'll be handed gear easily through global even if you gear is terrible you better get a grip on reality and deal with the fact having a good guild helps a lot even for 5-mans.

When I see something like "SC HC farm seek DPS 360 or ignore" I just put those ppl on ignore even when Im healer 364, because its just annoying! Ive met donors who reached ilvl over 365 and they dealt way less dps/dmg than ppl with ilvl 340. Than I must ask WTF? There is just chance for dumbs to show how dumb they are :D
When I want fast SC run or ZG, I asp for DPS stats rather than ilvl (and sure I avoid few guilds who are filled with donors :D)
for firelands that will be fine to ask for higher ilvl since mobs are dangerous there and you want DPSers to survive 2-3 hits when situation is fuc-ed up :D
For ZG its more about IQ than ilvl. When u got group of ppl 360+ with standart brain usage on aliance => fail regardless of ilvl :D

All rdf hc are possible to finish with ilevel 329 (before 4.0.6 and after), i dont care about ilevel if i invite others (though zul gurub needs alot of damage) - the problems are the dc??s
