That's pretty close to directly telling someone to stop because it depresses you, no? The uncaring 'vibe' that your post gives when someone is having a hard time is as bad as badmouthing someone, wouldn't you agree?

By the way, I understand that while you just want to play the innocent, clueless person here, and lying may seem convenient to do so, I suggest that you come up with something better than a blatant lie such as "Both my grandfathers died because of cancer, and I don't know how Sycrilla is dealing with, but I know it's not a walk in the park."
