I've been wondering if I should start watching japanese samurai movies and chinese wushu movies. I haven't bothered to research where I should start it.

Not gonna include Korean revenge movies? South Korea loves revenge driven plots for some reason.

Akiro Kurosawa is the only big name samurai movie guy I know of.

As far as wushu, there's the IP man series, Fearless, Drunken master 1&2, of course the Bruce Lee movies. Y'know what, gonna throw in Enter the Fist because of how awful it is.

You could watch some John Woo movies too, so many delicious one-take scenes in his movies. I'm such a sucker for them.
