This, gotta get dat protein, mane.
Boy, this is the first time when I'm not sure if it's sarcasm or serious.
I mean, I'm sure you're being serious, but I MAY be wrong.
Aha I wanna build muscle and yeah, just been so busy lately I've completely forgotten about food. I need professional help.
I am being serious man, joining the police force/military has been my dream since I was 4 years old.
When I was 4 I wanted to be a secret wizard rockstar that disguises himself as a taxi driver. Point being: 4 year olds are dumb.
Pro tip: every high ranked official in the army always lies to you, take everything with a grain of salt that they tell you. This is true in the united states, not sure about other places. Also especially true while you are a lowly private. I assume you've heard that the sergeants don't cuss anymore in boot camp, that's a lie. The first thingthey told my brother in law was a list of words that they will use repeatedly, and if you find them offensive they don't care. As for me, my great uncle was a colonel in the army, if a recruiter calls my house, we tell them to stop or we will inform colonel ______that they are harassing his great nephew, and give the list of repercussion that he told them when he picked up the phone when the recruiters called my dads house and my great uncle was there and answered the phone. He said something about sending the recruiter to the front lines with a toothbrush to clean the soldiers toilets. But the recruiter doesn't need to know that my great uncle has been dead for twenty years when they call my house.
Yes they are. Considering I still have the same dream I had when I was 4, is this your way of saying joining the army is dumb?
Some of this sounds pretty accurate, I have friends who have done the training. I just want a role in the intelligence, not that bothered about front line stuff.
Hmm... I'd never join the army in today's world. Fighting this war is pointless. NO! War is NOT pointless. THIS particular war is pointless.
Anyone who thinks this is not a world war is blissfully ignorant.
Give me 1 good reason why becoming a tool could ever be considered good or productive or really anything positive at all.
There are many reasons but I doubt any of them can be used to win this... discussion or w.e it is. I won't be a tool because I'm not joining to fight, I'm not even going to apply to be a soldier. It all depends on what section you go into. Some are ****, some aren't bad.
Fighting for something that means a lot to you isn't good/productive/positive?
Well if you're joining the army to not do ****, you're in luck. That's basically all you're gonna do in a today's army.
Fighting who? The imaginary bad guys in turbans with the curly mustaches that carry buckets of oil around?
You clearly have no idea what's going on. Why comment on a topic you have little knowledge of? If you think you know what 'today's army' is all about because you read it somewhere, you're a moron. If you're guessing, you're also a moron.
Either way, you don't know anything.
So the soldiers that lay down their lives and don't get the respect they deserve get rationalized as fighting "bad guys in turbans with the curly mustaches that carry buckets of oil around".
Bravo!
I think you might've been told a few too many patriotic stories about wars. Armies nowadays are an obsolete relic of the past and do nothing but consume resources for little to no return.
You're a doody-head and my daddy can beat up your daddy.
