Are you serious? I find it strange when people do not try to explore areas fully. I get pissed when I get games that don't offer me places to explore. I'm especially pissed if there's nothing hidden.

I punish myself sometimes. I always try to play the game as realistic as possible. I like to be inside the character and feel and act as if I was him or her. That is happening on a first playthrough.

On a second playthrough, I usually explore it the way I never did. Every place, room, cave, crevice, building.

The last of Us is semi linear. It doesn't offer a completely and fully open world, sadly. It has semi hidden areas, places you don't really get to unless you poke around. But it makes sense as you play through the game.

Maybe I'll find a used copy in perfect condition for cheap from some market, left behind by some hi/v/emind who can't judge things by himself, or just didn't like it. I remember how I bought Final Fantasy XIII in perfect condition for 35 euros when it was still 70 euros as it was just released. I guess the price is relative to the movie's length.

I haven't gotten far into Nocturne yet, but I just know this guy's going to be the most powerful corporeal being in the universe or something along those lines.

He was on school trip. No sleep at night, parties, enjoying final few days with your friends by just sitting on balcony of the room, watching the stars in the silence... Occasions like that are the only time when I feel good after 13+ sleeping time.

Just finished The Last of Us. Holy sweet mother of Jesus, was it awesome. My favorite game in the year 2012+1 and definitely one of my top 5 games of all time. It still has to sink in, that ending.
Great game, recommend it to everyone, even those that don't like the genre.
