I want to share something pointless about my life.

I like this girl from school so much but I am afraid to make physical communication with her since chatting on Facebook and talking in real life is so different. That is why every time she is near, to avoid awkward conversations I just go and walk away. She likes some of my posts about love on facebook and I like hers as well. I am really pathetic when it comes to love.

For me it's the best way to get in touch with people. Since I completely renounced my phone.

Facebook seems to be the least personal of the two, imho.

That why people do it, they think because they don't communicate irl they can be who they want to be, but when it comes to face on face, they buckle and crumble.

I strive for personal encounters. I usually use Facebook just enough to keep in touch with everyone. If I want to meet someone, I'll arrange a meeting and talk to them face to face.

I hate phones, I hate texting and the way society evolved around these concepts of remote communication. People are more and more afraid to talk with someone (generally a girl) so they are content with liking statuses and speaking through a device.

Least, I hate weak people (guys generally). Admittedly, I strive to speak with someone in person because I hate the "How to text a girl" , "How to ask a girl for her number" type of mentality that the guys seem to have embraced.
I hate the "ritual" that everyone has to perform in order to do something.
Want to befriend someone? You first need to be introduced, then live through countless hours of awkward group meetings, and situations, ask for their number/facebook/whatever else.
Want a girlfriend? Get her number, text after 3 days, get her facebook, like her status a few times, set up a date, hope that she will accept, go to 3 dates before the first kiss, tell her you love her after 7 dates.

Honestly, it's pathetic. The society is pathetic.

  7. Although some aspects of communication would be easier with Facebook, I'm not going to make profile there. It's my personal rebellion against modern society. It's literally brainwashing, I assume the situation is the rest of the world. My "joke" oath is that I'll make one when they enable dislike option. Imagine how many people would have their world ruined with that... I guess that I might be required to have an account, especially because I'm going to work in IT industry but that's years in future...

Yes. The dislike button would set things straight.... but in this type of society in which everyone is a pretty, special snowflake, that thing is probably never going to happen. Let's face it, pissing people off is not good for the business.

Just as your way of rebelling is not having facebook, my way of rebelling is not having a phone. I still have a lot of my in-game friends on Facebook and I'd hate losing contact with them. Skype is a good alternative too.

I'm the opposite. I'm the phone guy, and I also use Skype a lot. Hearing somebody's voice is the best alternative to personal speaking.

I think the only difference between skyping and phoning is that you can't read your conversational partner's body language.

Doesn't matter, body language can lie too.

Anyway, I'm on Facebook just to do some internet goofs (jokes only select few can understand) and if I ever feel like talking to someone, I'll arrange a meeting. There's also the thing that at my age, many of my friends are moving all around Finland to study. Phone bills would be massive, so talking via Facebook is cheap. It's also an easy place to discuss some news in.

All that epic maymay **** and bandwagoning bull**** is something I refuse to succumb to.

    Also, last day at work.

Also, I'm too hyped for this and can't wait for the end of November:

Also, Loller will transform into hunger man and break through the door for the sake of finding something to eat. Works every time.

Say what you will about the West, but their movie trailers are better.

Western trailers rely way too much on the same clich?® formula:

    1. Trailer starts with drum music
    2. Shots are revealed in fade-to-black transitions.
    3. Random talking scenes.
    4. Random action scenes.
    5. Etc.

Still, I don't really have any preference. The Desolation of Smaug teaser wasn't anything special, but the ending was really well done. I've been waiting a long time for a well done movie dragon.

The P3#1 movie trailer also had talk scenes with transitions, that wasn't what got me hyped, it's how the protagonist does the initial summon of his persona, and the music starts from chorus, as camera pans out from him. From there, you see characters introduce yourself, I like it, it's not interesting to those who never played the game. However, the trailer hits a higher point again when the music stays at a high point and more characters release their personas, while Yukari yells something emotional.

It depends on the directors and editors. Directing and editing for trailers of more mainstream movies tend to follow a clich?® formula, whereas off-stream movie trailers have more effort put to them.

The trailer you showed had voices over completely unrelated scenes with music that did not fit.

For the sake of argument, since you already mentioned it, the Desolation of Smaug trailer was remarkably well done and it captivated my interest, which is a lot to say because An Unexpected Journey left me with a bitter taste in my mouth, me being a book reader. The music fit perfectly, the dialog was well in tune, without revealing too much on the plot though. The introduction of Tauriel was well done, without putting her in the spot light and Legolas was not overused. I even got a chance to SEE AND HEAR Thranduil.

The P3 trailer did nothing for me to actually go and research about it (be it game, movie, movie based on a game, anime series or whatever else).

    Praising East has some limits.

To play games when you're bored.

And, the best thing, you can become a fan of Cazalb?® pages.
