Well god damn. Xbox knows how to make their controllers. Looks ****ing epic. Too bad they ****ed themselves so badly with the console that I probably won't get to use the controller. Unless it's Xbox 360 compatible. :/

it kind of reminds me of a 90's controller lol.

The only thing I want controllers to do is to make them last longer. I'm sick of analog sticks getting crunchy and sludgy. Or buttons gettings tuck.
All I want is a durable controller haha ._.

    I know man, I know. :(

Link, I think the Xbox controller is a unanimous favorite for all gamers, pc, ps, and Xbox. The main reason I don't like Playstation is because of their controller.

And the Xbox controller's durability is fine.

Seriously, I can understand xbox 360 and xbox original not being compatible, I mean who really cares right? They were very different.
But the xbox one and xbox 360, there was so much DLC to purchase and achievements to earn, why would they be so separated? The xbox one in my opinion should just be upgrading the hardware in your computer essentially, not switching your OS.

Xbox controllers always felt too big for me. I have small hands.

My controllers last a while but I swear all it takes is a sister playing it for one night and the controller's ruined. Or seeing a friend's, it's just like HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?
    But it just does.
I mean they're not as bad as like N64 controllers but meh.

A lot of xbox accessories are really fragile imo. Especially their mics. You can be as careful as you want, it won't matter.

The bumpers on both of my brothers 360 controllers broke within a year.

I also like the playstation one better, it's not a wrecking ball if i get angry and throw it.

I've never thrown a controller (as much as games like Resonance of Fate make me want to...) but the xbox controllers still are just awful sometimes. Like it's only very rarely buttons not working, it's always they just get a little clanky or stick sometimes, and they're never near food or anything, it's just like they get dislodged a little? The analog sticks like I said, are absolute worst. They just start getting so sluggish soon and lose their smoothness.

How well did your brother treat the controller?

You complain about durability and then make a joke about throwing it across the room...well of course you may encounter problems then, that's not what the controller was designed to do. Take care of your stuff.

I've had 4 regular wireless controllers for a couple of years now and they all work perfectly. I did once buy a Halo Reach themed controller...which randomly disconnects...and the left trigger is squeaky...so meh, stay away from the custom ones.

I did once, on god of war. But right before I released it I realized what I was doing and slowed down to as slow as I could and pretty much just dropped it on the floor.

He treated them like a kitten, and within a year they both broke. I barely used them at all, and I've never really thrown it (See above), however there is still the possibility.

The afterglow one I have is working the best.
    Cheaper too.
But I didn't buy it because the stupid lightup junk lol, I bought it because it's a wired USB I could use for emulators.

And because screw battery companies and xbox working together.
    Hate wireless.

I had an afterglow, it broke, but that's because my little brother and sister dropped it on the floor like 100000000 times
Then I got a PowerA controller, never got dropped and the cord had a short in it after about a month. Now, I use motioninjoy and a PS3 controller for emulation needs on my PC.

Xbox one controllers are also using AA batteries, pretty stupid.
