'printf' is used for C

'cin' and 'cout' is used in C++

'System.out.print' is used in Java

'print' in python

i think PHP is 'echo'

Yeah, it is.

cout is to display something to the screen (C - OUT)
cin is to store an inputted value (C - IN)
