Oh, I always was anti-dotist back in Warcraft 3 times. I even led a clan for over a year that hated on DotA. LoL only made me hate more those kind of games.

By the way, I am 2 weeks away from buying my tiamat 7.1 <3 <3 <3. Then I'll buy a mouse and a keyboard!

It's basically just a bunch of platinum players in diamond. The skill difference is really big when you get to D1 +50.
The whole new ranked system caused a huge inflation. There was only around 400 diamond players before the new system. Now there's probably 5000+ people in diamond.

That was over a year ago. Back when there were half the amount of League players, even less ranked players, and the average skill level was lower. Of course there are going to be more Diamond players. Are people not allowed to improve?

The top 0.22% of ranked players are in Diamond I or Challenger. The top 0.10% are in Diamond I 50+ LP or Challenger. Is the skill difference really that high or are they just being snobs who are butthurt that the Diamond club isn't as exclusive as it once was?

Yes, the skill difference is that big.
I mean as soon as the new system came into play, all the previous platinum players
went straight into diamond tier because it was so easy to get into it. That's what I mean by inflation. Obviously there will be more players and the number of players in tiers will increase.

The new system is still dumb. It still is based off your mmr which is hidden. The elo system was much better but Riot wanted people to feel better about ranked. Being number 358,777 ranked player on your server doesn't sound good right? We'll make this system so you can say you are number 1 in your league.

The only thing I have against the current League system is that Bronze is practically a participation award.
