the question is not wether or not Lavalash is the strongest attack, the question is wether or not it is stronger than Windfury.

No one ever asked if windfury was stronger than lava lash and it isn't even supposed to be stronger. Do you even think about what you're saying? It's a ridiculous question.

The reason why the better weapon is stronger in MH is not because Windfury is stronger. The reason is most of our OVERALL damage comes from our main hand (which means it doesn't matter whether you see LL first in your dps list). I'll repeat it: the extra damage you get from white attacks, ss and windfury (together) by putting it in your MH outweigh the damage from lava lash.

Windfury attack is based on your attack power not weapon damage so it doesn't matter, while having this weapon in off-hand will improve Lava Lash damage which is currently #1 on meter with the best gear you can obtain and Storm Strike off-hand. Proc percentage will stay the same since you do same amounts of attacks with both hands.

believe it or not chazz, but i experience to get the answers im looking for when i act stupid + offensive ^^ because then people actually start to use arguments instead of beeing all /nocare and no discussion begins to roll

so the question concerning strongest weapon in MH / OH is actually:

a) MH benefits from +100% more damage for Stormstrike (minus the OH attack) and 50% Autohits (due to the -50% OH penalty)
b) OH benefits from +100% more damage from Lavalash.

essentially (Stormstrike (MH))+(White x 0,5) versus (Lavalash)

correct?

It would require testing, but i'm pretty sure OH would be better choice if you had only 1. :P
If you had it in OH, it would boost your Lava Lash damage which does like 18-21% of total depending on the crits(at least on my shaman). I know when I got my first Gateslicer hc(weapon from Baleroc) i put it in my OH and my dps increased a lot.

What is better now on molten ? Minor increase dmg your Storm Strike and melee hit which can miss vs. astronomical hit with Lava Lash in burst ?
