@DaMatrix: wow TBH you have a point. Yes, I look good but my game experience will suffer and I doubt that I'll enjoy that. How are PvE pugs on the horde side? Are they better compared to what you have said about the alliance pugs?

PVE Pugs in horde side when you are lucky you get 3/4 DS or 3/7 FL.
If you're not so lucky you will get 2/4 DS and 2/7 FL.
beeryan take it from a player that doesnt have serious pve guild and does only pugs i manage to clear ds on few chars every week with pugs , i cant say for pugs on ally side but horde is pretty solid :)
Pugs on Alliance side seem to be of many different qualities. Last week for example I pugged 4/4 DS 10 one shotting everything but Zon'ozz and did 3/4 DS 25, which ended in a server crash while rolling for Unsleeping loot. However, on the 10 man we waited at least 35 minutes if not more before pulling Yor'Sahj due to two mdps disconnecting and getting thrown into the queue, with people not wanting to join a 2/4 DS ID. On the DS 25 man, the fact that I was the only DW DK in the group threw the Hand of Morchok into OS rolls since we had no MS Fury warriors either, and I had both hands. Anyways, the hand went after a messy roll to the wrong prot paladin by accident, who was quick to gem it apparently (cannot verify). Anyways, the fury warrior who won it didn't rage-quit, but threw a tantrum lasting 43 minutes, demanding to get his axe back and until his demand would be met he called the pally and the raid leader a ninja. I still refuse to believe though that it was the very same group that I saw my first Zon'ozz 25 kill on.
As for this week, only been to one DS 25 man, I think we waited over 25 minutes in front of Morchok while replacing offliners and leavers just to go back out to reset the instance and do the trash again. We wiped twice on Morchok, on the second wipe it seemed like the raid leader was kicking people as they died. I was highest dps on the first wipe and second highest on the second wipe, as a masterfrost DK trying out an alt rotation and misfiring half my trinkets due to poor timing with regards to the second phase. To be honest it was my fault for joining the raid, I had a terrible experience with the raid leader in question in FL 25, my guildies had even worse ones, and by the time it came to the hostility regarding strategy, I should have heartstoned out. Anyways, the end result was that I too had to /whisper a friend to help me get my corpse back.
seems like a lot of bad experiences from players on ally side. anyway, thank you all for the tips :D
Well, I guess in the end it's more about what you want to do. I mean the DS 25 I posted about with the Hand of Morchok rant was ****ing epic, even though it was pretty sad too. I was really pissed actually when the server DC'd, more so when I got online to hear that Specimine Slicer dropped but wasn't assigned to anyone since the looting had not happened, and the leader did not "ninja-loot" everything before rolling the gear out. Man, I would have liked to see the fight over that axe, we had so many warriors, dks and even a ret pala or two.
PuGs are always hit or miss, and if you don't like the aesthetics for night elves you can always play worgen instead.
For PvP, I'd recommend Alliance.
Join Mad Company and enjoy life :P
Some MC members are doing PvE too now, but most focus on PvP as that is what the guild was made for.
If you need more info, just whisper a member and they will gladly provide.
Either way, whichever side you pick, cya around in BGs.
