1. Returning after a year

Hey, returning after a year of not playing.
Played horde on Neltharion before, I am now considering this realm cause of the higher rates.

I am planing roll an ally toon, I just want to ask how the PvP queue for alliance is on this realm? Is it instant queue or do I have to wait a while similar to the alliance queue on neltharion before? I am into PvP and a little PvE. Is the PvP here good compared to Nelth? Are there more high-skilled players on the horde side or on the ally side?

I have always wanted to play alliance but I don't enjoy long queues for bgs. I have read some of the posts, some say alliance have long queues while others say horde has long queues. I don't mind if alliance loses most of the time, what matters to me is being able to play right away so I can practice more BGs and PvP.

    Thanks in advance! :D

  2. You'll have more luck as Horde on Sarg. Even quing randoms they are more likely to win.

How are the BG queues on the horde side? Is it fast and instant?

I havent qued this week, but normally 4-5 min wait sometimes a little longer, but thats because there is a higher Horde > Alliance population.

It's worth the wait when you win most of them.

How about PvE wise? Are PUGs on horde better than pugs on alliance? Since i am not fully geared yet I don't think high level guilds would get me right away.

I've only ever raided with guilds, So I cant answer that question.

Alright thanks a lot Orija, appreciate it.

  8. Horde wise, RDF takes forever and a day. I still find myself waiting over a half hour for queues regularly (as DPS). The easiest way is to join premades or a PvE guild, though the requirements for random premades is ridiculous as everyone wants a quick 2 minute run. ~_~

  9. Alliance solo ques are almost instant. Premades are less than a minute.

  10. PvE - Go Horde
    PvP - Go Alliance

I have chars at A/H. So if youre interested at PvP and BGs, come Alliance.

  11. Go horde for both pvp and pve. it will save you from re rolling in a month

  12. Thanks for the reply guys, very hard decision but i'm leaning towards alliance though so i'll just see you guys online in the battlefield. I hope that there are semi - ok or good PvE guilds on the alliance side. lol :D

Edit: or maybe horde... I'm rolling a druid and the only thing that is stopping me is the aesthetic look of NE druids hahaha

  13. Alliance queues are instant during peak time while horde queues at 3-5 minute queues. Regular days alliance queues are 1-3 minutes and horde queues are 5-10 minutes.

  14. I noticed that most you are saying that alliance has faster queues compared to horde so I guess this isn't true(?):

Sargeras: PvP realm with a fast leveling speed and a faction ratio of 48% Horde and 52% Alliance

That means that there are more horde players compared to alliance players, I think molten should change this information, it's kind of confusing just a thought. It always seems fun to join the "underdog" side, you know, the side with lower numbers. Feels more challenging haha! :D

  15. what we are saying is alliance queues can be instant with the cost of your team having 4+ afkers

the horde team will wait an extra 2 minutes for their queue sometime and have at most 1 afker but also 3 guys with teleport hacks.

if pvp is your thing on alliance you will gear via losses.

on the pve side, alliance has 3 major pve guilds but also around 10k people trying to join them, if you roll alliance you will PVE via pugs 99% of the time. that means once you zone in your tank will leave the second you get in.

if aesthetics is your thing, your in the right place on alliance because you will spend most of your time standing stationary waiting for a PVE queue or being in wisp form while dead in your BG's.
