Couldn't this have been done in just patches? How is it a great expansion for things that should be done in patches?
I see you haven't played wc3, it was done in patches aswell. They improved the units a lot in normal patches (for example they gave casters magic damage, instead of pierce damage), but they added new units and took care of the very large imbalance issues that certain races had.
The removal of the auction house and trading has really made the game better -- it's just harder to reach end-game, which is nice.
Never claimed it made it worse. Maybe I'm just old school here, but to me a developer should highlight the new amazing features they add, not the ones that they removed.

I have played warcraft 3, i'm just pointing out that 2/3 of the things which you say make the the frozen throne a glorious expansion should/could be done in patches.

Thinking it was a joke I click trade... He flys off... Now I have 500k Gold.. HOLY ****.

To a certain extend, definitely. But it depends on what you want to add, if it's to big of a feature then it will take quite a bit of work, which means you lose money. Small changes (like adding the magic dmg type) can be done quickly. But adding things like the boat mechanics aren't that quickly done, which is what I was talking about.
Like I said, maybe I'm just old school but to me an expansion is a piece of software that actually offers me a lot of content. Since the engine/sounds/textures are done and you basicly just expand the current game.
What does it mean when a girl bites her lip when shes looking at you?
It's bad. It's actually a secret sign between us, cannibals. If we look at someone and bite our lip, it's meant to recognize other cannibals. All you have to do is respond back with a smile. If you don't respond, it means you are not a cannibal so she will hunt you down, kill you and eat you.

You have been warned.
And what if we dont respond with smile, what if we also bite our lip ?
