At high gear levels (390+), I feel Arms and Fury are fairly equal. Although Fury needs more attention to use.

Arms dps is linear to ilvl, you can hit the enemy every GCD even if you are in greens.
At sub 378 levels, Fury isn't good because you don't have enough Crit to keep Flurry (30% haste) up all the time.
Lack of Flurry buff means lower chance to enrage, also lesser rage generation. Without flurry you are guaranteed to run into phases when you aren't enraged, where even Raging blow becomes unavailable.

That Said, there are some advantages to fury, like higher chance for battle trance to proc, and the ability to use Recklessness 2 times in most encounters, while arms can usually manage to fit in 1 recklessness.
Bone link Fetish is great for all plate dps, but it is GODLY for fury warriors. The proc hits harder than execute.

I will probably do more dps as Fury on a single target dummy for 10 million damage.

    Verdict:
BUT i think arms is better because it requires much lesser attention, and you can focus on Boss mechanics and staying alive. Fury you are glancing at your action bar too often, too much to manage.

I have observed, for dangerous bosses like Ascendant Council HC, my arms warr raiders maybe lose 2k dps, while my decorated fury raider's dps is cut in half :DD

Yeah i have to agree with you there but maybe with a better fury warrior (meaning they can control their rotation, boss mechanics and where to move) they can outdps arms warriors but i still stand by my ground with arms warriors but since i have not tested fury or even played molten in a while i cannot know really :) Test as you may! I'm actually curious to see fury vs arms comparesions if anyone has the time and effort to pull that off! :)

    Ahh sorry,

I just ask because... I have been testing my DPS on the dummies in stormwind.

    I try with the " Normal " 8% Hit.. 26 expertise.. and I can hold 25k

Just now I am trying.. 5% hit.. 20 expertise.. and i can barely hold 20k

BUT... In recount, none of my attacks are missing.. Something is wrong here.

You should test it in a RDF HC or a raid instead in my opinion... since dummies has never been a good testing place for a warrior... trust me i've tested in dungeons and raids instead of the dummy since the dummy is not according to me a good testing option. But you should try again and again and see if it makes any different results in my opinion on the dummy first but then go to RDF HC or Bosses in raids.

Yeap , never test on dummy as a warrior. You will never get the results that you will get in a rdf/raid.

Bumpy bumpy! People should show off their improvements from using my guide or recount screenshoots! I'd love to see them :D

Bump because I can! For the warriors!! 😄

Soo any one accurate how much hit,exp gonna work on molten through in rdfs n raids.my war is kinda low to reach retail caps.

  12. May 27, 2014
5% hit and 17 Expertise works fine for me. I can out dps everyone whether it be in RDF's or raids. Of course, you can't go on my comment alone but just wanted to let you know.

  13. May 27, 2014
5% and 20 exp is the minimum for no dodges/misses/parry etc

No dout the guide is great itself but for me its kinda odd n hard to changing stances again n again.thats why i've a odd q.is it worth to do it i mean how much dmg or dps can be loss if i do the fight by staying only in BS.

    Something must of changed

Last night I went into DS with my warrior. Usually 5% hit is enough

but last night I was missing attacks on the oozes during Yor sahj fight. and I have 7% hit :(
